RGB vs. CMYK? - Huh?

While we will attempt to match your yard sign colors as closely as we can, printing does have its color limitations.

Main Differences:

Type: RGB is additive; CMYK is subtractive.

Usage: RGB for digital displays; CMYK for print.

Color Range: RGB has a wider gamut; CMYK is more limited.

Representation: RGB uses numerical values; CMYK uses percentages.

Understanding these differences ensures accurate color reproduction across different mediums.

BLEED

Please include 0.125” bleed on all sides of your artwork if “off the edge” printing is desired for your custom yard signs.

Please also allow for 0.125” safe space on all sides.

Minor adjustments will be made in our pre-press department - if artwork will not conform to specifications, a delay in your project will occur and someone from our art department will reach out to you.

FONT / LINE SIZE

We recommend using no smaller than 18 pt. font for yard sign printing. Most times font size are much larger than that, but for political “Paid for by” lines and other circumstances, we recommend no smaller than 18 pt.

We also recommend going no smaller than 1 pt. on any vector line.
